The pattern this addresses
Every IHS amendment generates a notification cycle: an industry update, an updated guidance page, sometimes a stakeholder briefing. Each requires an analyst to articulate what changed, what it means in practice for importers, and what the operational implications are. The work is low-novelty per amendment, high-volume across the year, and inconsistent in tone across analysts. Industry submitters routinely flag inconsistency in MPI notifications as a quality issue.
How the tool works
The tool takes two inputs: the before text and the after text. It produces a clean diff. For each change it explains what changed in plain language, what it means in practice for importers, the operational impact, and the risk impact, with a severity rating. It then drafts an industry notification email in the BIES house format, ready for analyst review and Director sign-out.
Try it on a sample amendment. Or paste your own before-and-after.
The samples are realistic before-and-after pairs based on recent IHS amendments. The tool produces a complete change package in seconds.
